When people lose touch with reality such that they can’t discern the difference between “controlled opposition” & sincerely held belief or opinion that just happens to disagree with their own closely held thoughts, you get events like we have seen with @BrianCates & most recently @DuaneCatesI consider the way they have been drawn in, isolated, and pushed to cut off ties with those who are on the outside, to be classic cult behaviours.Their grasp on reality will become increasingly tenuous.

@shecky2000 @Andre This is very good advice. However, they have been here long enough to know Andre and FA is not an enemy to them and none of us are trolls. They are allowed their opinions, as are others. We read their thoughts and either agree or disagree and move on. Many times I read things and think “pfff”. But, I don’t separate from the individual over it. If we can’t accept people, warts and all, then we will surely lose this fight. And we can’t afford to lose!

@Andre it's interesting. I have lurked on different sites since TD on Reddit got banned. Went to Voat, then QV, then finally to FA. All to see fresh sources of news and opinion not in msm. I read it all with a critical eye not knowing at times what to think. What has been so neat about FA is the lack of drama, unlike this Cates biz. There is no high handed mod or group or clique driving a point if view. Read the posts and opinions with an open mind and decide for yourself what to believe.
