       Obsidian is the best markdown editor I have tried so far. It is faster than other alternatives and has a nice and polished interface. Also, plugins like Obsidian git (which allows you to sync your notes using git) are fantastic.#markdown

       @sotolf Understandable. If it has so many fans, it must be for a reason! :)Not my cup of tea tho. I tried it in the past and did not assimilate its keybindings which are the core of vim. For the terminal I've been using micro instead and it has been a good experience so far.

       @alejandrobdn Hey, the most important thing is that you found something that works for you :)Yeah, the start of vim does take some getting used to, but it's really cool when you get it to really work, I've been using it for over 15 years now, so it's kind of second nature for me :)

       @alejandrobdn I've been seeing a lot of praise for it lately. Makes me curious enough to switch to it from Joplin for a couple of days to try it out.

       @moddedBear I used joplin first. The I switched to marktext (which I have installed already) and for the last month I've been using Obsidian, although I was reluctant to use an electron app. But then I read a review that said it was quicker than others so I gave it a try and found out it was true. Plus its core and community pluggins are great :)
