       In the Donbass, a yet unconfirmed field report announces that the first Ukrainian defence line in the Ugledar direction near Pavlovka has been broken, with the help of a particularly large application of Russian thermobarics. There's also another large clash in the north going on right now near the village of Spornoye, as the Ukes have launched another desperate assault to try to reach Lisichansk. This has been a near-daily occurrence this week, only paused for the massive rains that hit a few days ago.

       @RowdyRamzan The Russians are hammering with both artillery and aviation, but the thermobarics mentioned are the TOS-1A, which I believe are just artillery-delivered.

       There's a very good reason the NATO regulars on the ground in the north started refusing to charge into these defenses, and attacked the Uke commissars who arrived at the front to try to force them the other day.

       @BobsonDugnuttHB Yeah I think that's their MLRS platform for thermobaric missiles...... probably the most effective single piece of equipment with how this war has played out with limited aviation and dug in positions. Hopefully they've been churning out new ones

       @Zauber @BobsonDugnuttHB Yeah, I've seen pics of the aftermath in bunkers and it's probably some of the most horrifying warfare imaginable. I think a longer range and or truck mounted version might be better so they could deploy more of it
