       @millie that’s just mastodon. Eugen is very anal about this and doesn’t even allow setting this in configuration. Pleroma, Misskey, and even Glitchsoc (the fork of mastodon) allow setting the length to whatever.My instance allowed up to 10 million characters at some point, for one.
