@boss @haverholm I don't think we need to be sarcastic about it, but I think being or not being open source does make difference for the transparency of the algorithm.A transparent algorithm everyone can see and understand is much better than a proprietary one.

They where introduced to engage people to spend more time in the platforms.In any case I prefer to make my own choice, creating carefully a timeline with interesting and nice people.Industry/capitalism needs algorithms, people don't.
