@LoriQuaid I believe it was a door, but I could be wrong... I remember a few years back when Nancy wanted to fly military jets because of "safety" concerns flying commercial. Just guessing here, but I would think that she also got more security for her and her home. But, I don't know... I would be surprised if they didn't have some sort of additional security at the home.

@Salyer The last account that I read said Nancy's husband was wielding the hammer when police arrived, but that the suspect got the hammer off of him and attacked him with it. This doesn't make any sense to me, so I don't know if early reporting has much to do with reality.
