https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1586059953311137792 You can't include representation for the kinds of people you just got rid of without them eventually taking it over again.

@rlier23 It's possible that all the "diverse" perspectives will be outside of the woke left and this is just spin, but I wouldn't count on it. Note that even a half-assed censorship regime is enough to scare the left. But I wouldn't expect it to ever improve beyond that.

@ArdainianRight The past Twitter censorship needs to be denounced and rejected in the strongest terms, there can be no compromise or olive branches extended to those scumbags whatsoever.

@ArdainianRight @rlier23 They're planning to steal the Brazilian election, and are freaking out over the prospect that coverage of election fraud won't immediately be censored and suppressed.

@ChristiJunior @ArdainianRight @rlier23 Information control is political control, as it were - they knew they lost a very important messaging strategy for information suppressionBrazil is going through some really unique times: the people revolt as Chinese investment pours into the country against its self-determination. Information control is essential to people who want to topple populist ideas and candidates; it isn't like they can have a debate on the principles of their platforms

@ChristiJunior @ArdainianRight @rlier23 oh, don't have too high hopes with Brazilian elections, we have no "based" candidate. On one corner, we have a shitty leftist demagogue corrupt to the core who'll ruin everything. On the other corner, we have a shitty zionist demagogue corrupt to the core who'll ruin everything. The election will be decided according to who is the less hated and rejected candidate of the two.

@Halo Brazil is part of BRICS and overall no president here, or even the populace, has much against China, TBH.They are an important economic partner, and people like their cheap products. And it's not like "Oh no, cheap Chinese crap will ruin our local manufaturing", because, well, we never had local manufacturing or product engineering and development here, so that ship has already sailed.

@Shining @ArdainianRight @ChristiJunior @rlier23"Brazil is going through some really unique times: the people revolt as Chinese investment pours into the country against its self-determination."I haven't really seen much of that, tô be honest. As I said to Halo, China is an important economic partner of Brazil, and people here in general don't have strong feelings against them. There are a couple strides on "reducing Chinese imports", but it's not the people who are claiming that, and not even manufacturers, because we don't have those anyways. The people wanting to reduce importing are the owners of huge chainstores that already sell a lot of imported Chinese crap, and they want to remove the competition of the direct imports. And those guys have a few useful idiots under them.

@MischievousTomato @Halo oh yeah, as far as I am aware we have no such things here. We may have corrupt and imbecile politicians, but even they know better than to make laws that would benefit the Chinese in detriment of the local industry and kill the golden egg laying duck for a quick profit from China.Specially if you consider our main industry here (agropecuary) has a huge lobby. Which is weird, because technically speaking, Brazil has no laws allowing lobbying.

@Suzu @ArdainianRight @ChristiJunior @rlier23 I should have been a little clearer in my post; the unrest mentioned doesn't involve Chinese influence, but rather the usual far-left agitation you would be able to speak to a little betterFor what little it's worth, I did see a couple of documentaries recently on Chinese influence in Brazil. With how they treat US farmland, I wouldn't be at all surprised if certain hedges backed by the CCP proffered their hand first in friendship, then pulled something nefarious later to put Brazilians on the hook for later
