       Taking another look over here, probably moving from Twitter for good now. If I have a logon on fosstodon.org, is that same logon good for mastodon.social too, or do the different instances have different accounts?

       @kevinhooke all are different but you can connect multiple instances in some apps like Tusky or the official Mastodon smartphone app.

       @kevinhooke No, you won't be able to log into other instances, but you can follow and interact with anyone on that instance.  Kinda like the way email works in that regard.  You don't have to be on that server to interact with those users.

       @kevinhooke Accounts are tied to an instance I believe, so you'll need to log in with the instance you're registered with. You can migrate across instances though!
