You're likely in a good place given that intro.Assuming you're new to mastodon generally, here's a tip: there's no algorithm here pushing content at you, so you gotta find people to follow on your own. Check out the local timeline, that's other fosstodon posters, and try to find people who seem interesting and follow them. Check who they follow. Maybe search a hashtag.It takes a wee bit to form the new habit, especially because the site isn't trying to condition you.

       @danct12 @thrick Yeah probably don't do that. The raw stream of all posts across the federated social network is often not a good time. Like plugging yourself straight into the internet.
