       I guess I never posted an #introduction when I joined the #fediverse. Here is mine.You may recognize me from my old podcast, The Command Line. I am still very passionate about the topics I explored there: the intersection of technology and society, for programmers like myself and everyday people.I think a lot about my chosen profession, software development. I have been at it a long while, mostly as a contributor but with some modest successes as a manager and coach.

       I realized part of why I never wrote an #introduction, even with the higher character limit isn't quite enough space. I am notoriously long winded.I am a pretty passionate #brewer and post occasionally about #beer, #brewing, and share process pictures from my small but mighty home brewery.

       I recently became a #vegan for health reasons. #wfpbno #forksoverknives I am increasingly interested in health and well being based on my experiences working on my heart health. I have a few wearables and am endlessly fascinated with comparing what they reveal and how I feel moment to moment. I have been practicing mindfulness for years and tend to see that is an integrated part of my health.
