Okay... maybe I should have multiple accounts on multiple instances? Is that how #Mastodon is supposed to work?Right now I just have one account but I'm realising that the local timelines are actually pretty great in other instances. Like meow.social contains so many cool people but I can't really connect to them from here.But then isn't federation supposed to allow me to have one account only?#twittermigration I guess since I joined recently (but before the whole Musk thing)

@IgnisIncendio That is sort of my plan---use the mastodon.social instance for my general posts but eventually make a few (but not too many) accounts on specialty instances.

@SocialJusticeHeals @IgnisIncendio It's not uncommon to have multiple accounts on themed instances... an account on mastodon.art to post your art, but posting your day to day on another account.But don't get carried away... it's easy to get more accounts than you can keep up with.
