alex, what is candy for 400?its the daily double!i dont eat candy.there will be nobody trick or treating here anyway, thankfully.:)ps did you know halloween is a satanic holiday?Or Samhain: First Highest Satanic holiday - Celebration of the beginning of the Celtic Year (Nov. 1st). In Catholicism, Nov. 1st is All Saints Day.

@ringo I might hand out some candy… I don’t make a to do out of it like some… as long as the intention is light and fun I think it’s fairly harmless… I hope! 😂

@MegasAlexandros We don't get Trick or Treaters.The first several years, we'd buy candy just in case. Then one year in an effort to spare ourselves from being the ones to eat it, we didn't have any on hand and .... you guessed it.... Lo, and behold some kids knocked on the door. We had nothing sweet, so we gave them some change. 🤣 @ringo

@ringo You can believe what you have been told, but Samhain is not a satanic holiday, it is a pagan holiday and there have been good pagans around since way before Abraham. In fact, if you look at most Christian holidays they all fall on old Pagan holidays in order to acculturate those who followed previous religions. We do a disservice to ourselves and this world if we don't research the truth. Just because we believe something, doesn't make it so.

@ringo @cully45 @oystergirl Sadly, Germany has jumped on the Halloween bandwagon despite having Reformation Day on the 31st and All Saints Day. They have fully embraced the demonic side of things to the point where my 3rd grade son’s music class sang a song about Halloween being the night of ghosts and demons (he didn’t sing along).That earned a letter from us and he was allowed to go to another room the next time they sang the song. AND four other students went with him to avoid the song.
