Ballsy truth telling proves successful more often than wishy washy political speak. Yet the republican consultants still suggest careful pandering and wussy speak and most candidates still use that approach. @Phil When the results are in, Masters will win comfortably over Kelly. Both candidates internals likely have shown this since Labor Day.

@Phil I don't think this race was ever close, Kelly is an awful candidate with lousy political instincts. Masters is a much better candidate with an engaging personality. Plus, Kelly will have a Red Tsunami to contend with that is likely to end his (and many other Democrat Party candidate's) careers.

@theartistformerlyknownasdogon @Phil Partially, the tragedy of his wife's shooting is genuine and heartfelt. I've tooted on that in the past, it's a big deal and left a mark on AZ's political consciousness.Kelly though is a dud. He has none of the political instincts his wife had. Moreover, his personality is unsuited to politics.Most importantly though, he doesn't have the benefit of running against Martha McSally this time....and election fraud.Yes, I said it.

@theartistformerlyknownasdogon @Phil The shock and genuine concern for Gabby was across the spectrum here. She was well-regarded because she had an engaging personality. Plus, she wasn't a hard-core leftist. In fact, she was a genuinely Centrist democrat who had a business background.She was being groomed for higher office because she was the most talented younger politician on D bench.What's been done to her since then and in her name is utterly shameful though.

@theartistformerlyknownasdogon @Phil I was in Australia at the time of that shooting and the initial reports were that Gabby died. The family I was staying with was from Tucson so we were all shocked.They were liberals.I am a conservative.We all were shocked and saddened by this tragic event. Back in Arizona, everybody I know was horrified by what happened.But then the Democrat Party decided it was expedient to exploit this tragedy for their agenda (largely gun control).What a waste!
