       @RustyCrab as far as I could tell, yesmy internet was perfectly fine but the download from the firefox site would not start no matter how many times I tried it. I ended up downloading it on another PC and transferring it via flash drive

       @RustyCrab this was a preconfigured windows 10 install so possibly the OEM fucked it up. like the intel graphics drivers were set to 59 Hz for some reason 🤨 I'll be doing a clean install on another machine so we'll see if I have the problem again
