       I think the reason its not straightforward is that there are likely multiple genes involved and its not as simple as like... hair color.

       @RaspBut then wouldn't the "gay gene" select against itself, because genetically gay people were less likely to produce offspring? Unless its a recessive gene so two "straight" people could give birth to gay offspring....🤔

       @Haikyo_neko to an extent yeah but its never stopped gay people from having children and if many of those genes overlap with bisexuals then it abolsutely works.

       @Haikyo_neko you do still have a point being gay is still a minority trait which tracts with it selecting against itself to an extent but it was never so harsh as to wipe it out.
