@MissLane This is complete rubbish. It is intended to gaslight people and make Phillips appear to be some sort of insider secret squirrel. Worried about CCP tracking?Worry about the HARDWARE they make for EVERY phone.The software stuff is peanuts. @MissLane He typed the initial alert while "on the road" so he didn't have time to explain.However, I got the impression that in addition to an alert, it became a test of the people he is working with, like @CognitiveCarbon @BrianCates and many others.Maybe he was checking to see who would follow orders or trust him without needing explanations right away. Considering the threats they seem to be under, this is something that is good for him to know about the people he works with.

@Mathman @MissLane I have become WAY choosier about my use of TG.I go to Bashers, one closed chat, and follow @Luther for news aggregation. I pop onto @DuaneCates chat occasionally.I am monitoring certain people I consider to now be censorious cultists but I do not participate in their channels.I participate here and scan the news for stuff that leads to my threads.That's about it.

@Andre At this point I think I need less information and opinions. Most of the TG channels just regurgitate everyone else's takes with their individual spin. @Andre @MissLane I followed this drama for several days on TS. I'm done jumping onto the latest bandwagon. The only thing I canceled were my subscriptions to 'independent' journalists. @Andre I got booted out of a TG chat for just being a consumer rather than a contributor (There were dozens of dummies who spouted daily nonsense who likely got to stay) it turned a page for me. You want to protect from infiltrators and those with ill intent, awesome. Please do so. But it soured my opinion of a certain big-time star contributor regardless of his takes and insights. Many were genuine in their beginnings and worked hard to create meaningful and helpful content which has served to educate and motive many to learn and do something.Some, got caught up in it and have started to believe their own hype.
