@lantrix @ned @lantrix @ned i dont think so, not for a small instance. 4TB is quite a lot unless you are planning on hosting like entire discographies and other pirated materials. our uploads are capped at 100MB per file and it took over a year to hit 1TB for like 12K people (we're at 26K now almost)

@graf Put filesize limits.A 1 minute video should be under 5 megabytes, any higher and its bloat.When I upload vids to this site I use ffmpeg with -crf 30 to compress it.Some people may not like the compression artifacts, but those artifacts are the film grain of the internet, compressed videos are soul, if you don't like it, fuck you.

@graf @killer for any normies you can use Discord for compressing videos, just uploading to Discord and then redownloading it will compress the video and reduce the file size, but you need Nitro for any files over 8mb
