@hypolite @heluecht @news yes, happens for me all the time, when the server cleaned up the post it pulls and publishes the feed items again. I guess that is the reason. On some days I spam dozens of blog posts because of that.

The confusion for me is that it's pulling this item from the (Atom?) Feed but I'm following the regular account.

@hypolite @heluecht @alfred I don't understand, I assume this post comes via atom/RSS contact from WordPress, resgared as an own post?

Ah, you're right, but I'm not used to be able to comment on Atom feed posts, I assumed it was the forum account post. It's even more confusing to me now.

It's possible that the original post was cleaned from my node due to age but since the Friendica News feed still has this 2 year old item, it was imported again.

@hypolite but on my node postings are automatically deleted after 3 month, so if an external node could trigger this, it should have happened before - right?Maybe the forum node has expiration activated? Though IIRC @alfred once said he had not activated it.Maybe because of the reshare? Would a new reshare (of a stranger) trigger a refreshment of the postings on nodes where it was deleted before?

I think the expiration is set to 720 days on node level. But I'm not sure if it is set for the News account itself.

@hypolite My node didn't exist two years ago, so I guess it can be excused.

@news this is an old problem that appears with peertube servers as well. There should be an open issue.

@hoergen AFAIK peertube postings get updated from their servers, when they get a like or comment. But yes, the outcome is the same :)
