       After removing my banking app and reinstalling signal via the apk on their website, I'm now completely free of any apps on the Play Store (Aurora Store). Feels good.

       @pavot Banking and government apps are tough. During COVID some countries would even require you to install some app from the Play Store upon entry.

       @pavot You could either  rent a smartphone at your own expense or be denied entry (and pay for your return ticket). They're not joking and don't care about if some foreigner can't enter the country because they don't have a Google account.
