@r @hakui I like it. I wouldn’t say it’s a must-watch this season, but it is enjoyable for what it is and the setting is interesting enough to make me look forward to the next episode each week. It’s nothing like LL though, so don’t expect a cute girls doing cute things atmosphere (even if Shouxue is very cute).If you want to give it a try, like @hakui said, the first arc is two episodes long and should give you a good idea of what to expect.

@hakui @wakarimasen I find it a bit hard to follow along with this anime. First, the setting is very different from the other things I've watched so I had to rely more on the subtitles because of the vocabulary used (had to look up some English words too). Second, the subtitles and other text use the Japanese reading for the names, but in the voice, they use Chinese reading. To make things worse, all the male characters look almost the same, which makes it hard to keep track of who's who.

Anya and family has been exactly opposite of it. It's not particularly a slice of life anime and they do have a story to tell, Yet it feels like the story hasn't progressed since the first few episodes. Last few episodes almost felt like fillers. They stretched the Tennis match to 2 episodes as well. I really want to like the anime, the characters are so good and the episodes where they focus on the characters are still pretty excellent. The first 3 episodes were so wakuwaku, they packed so much in a single episode to the point they even skipped the OP and ED. But the later episodes were mostly just okay.

@r @hakui In terms of seasonal anime, it’s exactly what the name says. There are four seasons and most new anime on Japanese TV starts airing at about the same time, and (depending on number of episodes) end at around the same time as well. For example, both shows you are currently watching, Spy x Family and Koukyuu no Karasu, started airing on October 1st and ended on December 24th. Both were one-cour (13 episodes) shows and part of the fall 2022 season. Now that they are no longer occupying a time slot on TV, their time slots may be taken up by new shows that are scheduled for the upcoming winter 2023 season. Shows that are two cours (~24 episodes) or longer and thus span multiple seasons are usually counted towards the season that the first episode aired in. @hakui @wakarimasen At first it seemed like nothing really changed, jusetsu will keep on living a normal life. But then they showed the short scene where jusetsu is flying and makes it seem like she had become the monster herself. But nothing really happens in the last episode that'd suddenly turn her into the monster. She did start having feelings for all the people around her, which could be a reason, but it existed before the last episode. Or was it just a dream and nothing really happens?
