@Terry I'm not arguing against the fact that the product is a pallet of firewood. I'm saying that it is clear, both from the image and from the sign, that the pallet is stacked more than a meter. A meter and eighty centimeters to be exact. Meaning 80% more product than if it was only stacked a meter high.

@Terry @Jens_Rasmussen I'm pretty happy that when the boss needs firewood, I can just cross the river to WV, head into the woods around Delbarton or Williamson, and harvest as much wood as we can fit in the pickup.

@Terry I haven't burned anything at a fireplace since I was a small child. Wood was probably used as well, but I remember firing up with old phonebooks. To think those were a thing seems almost unreal in today's digital age.

@Jean_Philippe_Micheaux @Terry I just did a quick googling to see what advertised prices the search engine would like to offer me.1x1x1,80m birch wood: 600 EUR1x1x1,80m beech wood: 980 EUR1x1x1,80m mixed hardwood: 535 EUR (cheapest bulk I could find)I looked at smaller purchases as well, bags instead of pallets, but my math must be off since I reached the conclusion that it's cheaper: 505 EUR for equivalent pallet.Mind you that I live in one of the most expensive Euro countries, and with a higher sales tax too.
