The problem is that kfcc is using vanilla Pleroma backend still, not rebased. It doesn't know how to handle quote posts. #PleromaIsDead

Hey Alex, would it be alright to update to the latest backend even though I'm running the older frontend? I noticed that some posts have the repost counter at one, despite no reposts and I have panic attacks because of it.

The "RE:" link is added by an MRF. It's enabled by default for Rebased installations, but admins can turn it off.

There's an OTP release on every commit as well as a Docker image. Look at the artifacts in GitLab CI.
