@HarryNuggets @turncoattradition Chicago style deep dish is pretty fucking amazing. To be fair I haven't had a chance to compare it to New York style or Detroit style pizza but I liked it a lot when I was down there last.

When manufactures starting putting high fructose corn syrup and seed oils in everything apparently waist lines started ballooning.My mother says most people weren't that fat when she was a teen in the 70s and early 80s.Quality of food can only account for so much. What part of their attitude changed to be lazy and gluttonous? Less farm work to burn off those calories?

@Jim Here I am picturing Nick eating a Happy meal in an autistic fashion:Nick grabs his happy meal, grabs a tray opens his happy meal, puts the burger in one corner of the tray, the toy in the other corner, the fries on the left of the burger and the apple slices to the left of the fries, exactly at 2cm of separation.Unwraps his toy and folds the wrapping so doesn't bother them, admires his toy and realises there is a defect on it, it has a slight plastic seam in one of the sides, a small manufacturing defect, that is the first trigger.Then he proceeds to take the burger apart bit by bit, first the bun then the lettuce, the tomato... he realises the tomato wasn't cut evenly is more thin on one side, that's the second trigger.Then patiently re-assembles the burger and begins taking the fries off the package one by one, he lays them down in the tray next to each other to see if the lengths are the same he realises two of the fries are too short and one is too long compared to the rest. That is the third trigger.He will not eat the apple slices, that's too green and too healthy, so he will dispose of them but get upset they don't share the same thickness and one of the slices has a spot in one of the sides.Then he proceeds to eat, later that day he will have diarrhoea that he will blame on the unevenly cut tomato slice and the different length fries and will begin to think on his next ceremonial burger he will have the next day.
