@KonataWagner1066 Watching that made me realize what we're missing. Louise gets temporarily seduced by that noble knight, leaving Saito behind, but the important thing is that Saito has leverage back on her, because he has alternative girls that are interested in him as well, such as the maid, which Louise gets jealous of in turn, and so they get back together again. If our society wasn't so lopsided in favor of females, we wouldn't have to be so bitter about that sort of pre-relationship "shit-testing" or "cheating".It also made me realize that discriminatory eliteism or rascism in a girl is very hot, I think because it shows that you aren't easily replaced. Also DFC tsundere are the best.

@KonataWagner1066 @BaronVonOps Dude (MC) was literally suffering from a MK Ultra project. The only reason he stays with Louise in spite of her abusive treatment is that his familiar runes brainwashed him, making him forget the bonds he has with his family and old world and it replaced those with a desire to serve and protect his master. The female main character is so unlikable that the author made it a plot point.

@hrast @KonataWagner1066 Imma be honest with you I just kinda saw him as so bland and one dimensional that he was like a generic hero from dungeons and dragons the cartoon. Like come lets be real that wasn't much of a character there.

@BaronVonOps @KonataWagner1066 He was painfully bland but he still had character. Idk about anime since I don't watch those, this was from my experience reading the novels. Author also died a decade or so ago, leaving the last few books unfinished and his buddy took over and completed it wheel of time style, but at that point I already moved on by the time the translations hit the English side of the community. It had a few interesting concepts.

@hrast @KonataWagner1066 In the anime he was not a character and it was too the point where it was honestly impressively terrible. It is my understanding that the books are much better. That being said, I think that it was simply just average and you know what thats fine. Not everything has to be amazing or the best thing ever.
