@antisophon Ah, okay, TAP activated (trigger="i regurgitate common semisense saying"), how thinking about "when is someone/something evil".First instinct is "noone, since it's all causal systems", but that can't be right bc the word has *some* predictive power.Second thoughts ar something like "expends energy to move into better equilibria", "part of the supercooperation cluster", "shares my values". Maybe something with discount factors: I have a harsh ick reaction against people who discount strongly.Maybe it's even related to very basic "is predictable by me", "can be reliably traded with" "doesn't force negative sum games on me"? That would be very weak conditions.Anyway that's my ranty thoughts upon noticing I wasn't paying attention to a word

@niplav the counterpoint didn't dispute any of the financial figures or other facts or the basic theme that WMF is funding activism, just implied it was well intentioned and the egregious stuff was likely a small part. No thanks, I'll still pick my own orgs to donate to that I'm more sure won't be counterproductive.
