       I cancelled my PayPal account this morning and requested my data be deleted.This is the email I received.Apparently what amounts to a background check will ensue.Screw these people

       @TXPatriot2021 I canceled mine but, did not delete my info.  Most of it was expired, anyway and I haven't used paypal in years.

       @lovelexxxx I only used it the last couple of years when there was no option.I disconnected my bank and cards after the Lord Malbec Girlyman Asshoe purge.Maybe they will see the SQV link and investigate that grifter

       @TXPatriot2021 I’m not defending PayPal at all, but they email isn’t as ominous as it may seem.I got that email a few days ago, they just want to make sure you don’t have any pending transactions.   The other stuff is just a notice that as a financial services company that they are required by law to maintain certain records for a certain number of years.   I got a confirmation of account closure and deletion a couple days after I requested it.
