It's necessary to be able to send custom alerts for testing things like media, media duration, custom price variations, voice selection, etc. The test button in the dashboard that sends a generic message is only meant to test the actual functionality of the overlay.Also, in the user dashboard, you have the ability to title your goal via the 'Goal Name' to whatever you see fit. Examples could include things like: New PC, Roadtrip to Vegas, etc. A lot of users choose to advertise their Powerchat URL in that space.Powerchat has been open registration for months now. None of this is a secret, and nothing has prevented you from making your own account and checking out all of the awesome features for yourself.

A lot of the people being accused of abusing normal features have always been accused of the same thing on every other platform they've ever used, and you know fully that they will continue to be accused regardless of what changes are made or what platforms they choose to use in the future. Streamelements allows creators to send custom test alerts that aren't identified as tests. Why would Powerchat remove industry standard features that the leading competitors have to please bad faith actors who won't change their opinion either way. If Powerchat removed it today, you'd say these streamers got caught and that change proves it. If it doesn't remove it, you'll say it's to protect them. In either case, you'll say it's still happening.
