I installed Jitsi Meet at my company, but people are complaining because a lot of times it's a crapshoot whether it works or not. And troubleshooting it is a pain in the ass.Is there any alternative FOSS VOIP solution similar to Jisti Meet? Preferably, also browser-based.I'm aware of BigBlueButton but the only platform it supports seems to be Ubuntu 18.04, which is ancient.

@drq BigBlueButton probably supports other platforms if you try hard enough.Jitsi Meet is a bittersweet experience, on one hand it works alright and is a streamlined experience but on the other hand it breaks all the time, breaks other things (like Prosody, you can't install Prosody alongside Jitsi), and is fragmented across several different pieces of software written in the worst language possibleyou could try Mumble, but that only supports voice and isn't browser-based. Screego does screen sharing. not sure what for video calls.

@mo @drq yeah it appears this is the recommended requirement and there's probably a package for it on latest Ubuntu as well as Arch, perhaps they have a release ready on their GitHub
