@thatguyoverthere @DavidVTV I came to politics late- after Assange so I don't know about that. I'm interested in the ACTIONS he took as President which benefited ALL Americans & the world quite frankly. If people can't see the VALUE of "promises made, promises kept" over an opinion on a specific topic- especially after the hell we've experienced over the last 2 years & the impending nuclear war- than they need to evaluate their priorities, imo.

That specific topic is a huge issue. Fake news is what it is today because of the actions the state has taken around wiki leaks and assange. Assange exposed government lies and they want to lock him up for life because of it. Trump had the chance to see that and act and he decoded "let the courts decide".Trump also fell for bad advice from gates and pushed warp speed which has led to how many people (children included) being injured or killed with the clot shot.

He took no action. That's my problem. He seems to lack discernment. He sees roughly who the enemy is, but he's too easily manipulated by their propaganda. The people going after assange are the enemy. His lack of action on that issue was kind of the last straw for me. Now assange is left to the wolves with very few in our government who can or will do anything to right that wrong. His persecution has had a stifling effect on truth.

I mean you can be against biden and call out the mistakes of Trump. I dont think he was malicious as many like to cast him, but I think he really missed the boat if he wanted to drain the swamp.

@thatguyoverthere @DavidVTV I respect your opinion & agree that no one is above being held accountable although I think picking apart President Trump on this issue at this time is a luxury we can't afford. The election theft & spying on his campaign are unresolved issues still being dealt with & draining the swamp is still in progress via Durham, Weiss, & the fight for election integrity.

I think if assange remains a target of our government, draining the swamp is impossible. Minimizing political persecution of people who came before trump in that pipeline won't get us where we need to be.I would recommend "The Trial of Julian Assange" by Nils Melzer as a good source of information on the persecution. This is a critical issue to understand when it comes to how the swamp operates. There are other issues I'm unhappy with Trump's behavior around but this is one of the most important. I also think his nicotine vape executive order, bump stocks, and operation warp speed suggest he is not impervious to propaganda. It would be better if the president was able to discern the bullshit.Now that said I would prefer Trump over Biden. I just think I'd rather someone completely new who maybe sees the truth a little more clearly.

Those who spied on his campaign are the same people who demonized assange and snowden for exposing the level of spycraft going on in our country and around the world.I also think elections have been mostly manipulated for pretty much the entirety of my lifetime. Trump was one of many who have been effected.
