You can just see what they post, they can't see you. It's basically a mute. Rather than letting the thin skinned one fuck up the website for those they block, removes the ability to block someone and jump into threads with people talking to them and commenting to kill their ability to see it/derail it etc.Apparently quite a few instances are already doing it, seen a lot of support for it from basically everywhere except poast lol
