       It's baffling, but maybe not as much when you look ahead.It's a game of numbers. The GOP needs to win a single seat in total to have control over the Senate. That means veto power over almost everything that Biden wants to do. Most importantly, they want to block his picks for judges.The GOP will block every single judge for two years and try "save' them for a Republican president, or at least delay the vote. We can easily see that judges are the most important legacy of any president.Looking at that situation in a hyperpartisan environment, the vast majority of Republican voters don't care what Herschel Walker did. After Trump, the last vestiges of any moral considerations went out the door. They don't care.        @TonyStark as horrified, as I am hearing this nonsense from Canada, the same baffling nonsense is happening here. It is not only ridiculous, but absurd. How stupid people are at the end of the day?I literally had a coworker tell me “ global warming, is an excuse to tax people more”! That’s real life in Canada.🤦🏼‍♂️Void of any facts, of any kind. that is their biggest concern . I don’t understand, and we need to die as human beings. We are clearly in capable of understanding our own consequences as a result of environment, and our involvement in it.

       @TOC Sorry to hear it. I was talking to someone last night and that person also said that it’s not just the U.S., which is true and upsetting.I personally think we can overcome it. I understand where you’re coming from, though.I read another article today that I didn’t get time to post that insinuated that people didn’t know where we were headed. Lots of us knew.It will take a long time to fix.

       @TonyStark Republicans picked a Black man with no experience and lots of bad baggage who doesn’t belong in the US Senate on purpose to run against a well qualified Black man and thought Black people wouldn’t notice. Their problems started right there.
