@Ricardus cutlery goes in the drawer as knives, forks, spoons (from left to right). Any other order and you’re likely to be a serial killer.

@Luke The knife section is baked into the plastic holder that fits into the drawer, and that unfortunately falls on the far right.

@Ricardus Came here to say I'm completely confounded, befuddled and discombobulated by the lack of Knife in the options, but it seems I'm too late and this has been explained. So, sSfF

@Ricardus The theme is still, at least for us, that the small spoons and forks are the most used and therefore should be grouped together.

@gedvondur Interesting. I'm american so I eat gigantic servings with big cutlery. The small ones almost never get used by me except to eat salads and stir tea.

@Ricardus I prefer the bigger ones myself, being also american. But my wife disagrees, so I need the others close to hand as well.

@Ricardus s S F fThis is the way Id lay out silverware when setting the table (knife goes horizontally above the plate, blade toward the forks). Except no does it this way but my family. I do think its better since it assumes you want your fork in the most common dominant hand. No idea how it got started in my family. My wife organizes the drawer in order for a common formal place setting of f F s S leaving me to always grab the wrong thing everytime i reach into the drawer.
