RSL isn't even the worst of them, just the loudest right now. Some of them even have monthly subscriptions on top of the microtransactions so you get even more items and characters to use.With arcades, when you ran out of quarters, beat the game or got the high score, you were done. Most people doing free to play don't even think about how much they are draining from their bank account while they play, and it never ends.

@Vito @DickMolesterson Yea, through my work I have read a few Raid contracts. They pay relatively well as a sponsor. At your size I would assume 500-1000$ per read. I have no idea how many reads or other sponsors you have. But a channel your size could probably make an extra 1500 - 4000$ a month on ad reads. I would assume you are in the lower standard deviation unless you shill 24/7.Assuming 2000$ a month that would make your gross income 84.000$ per annum.

@Vito @DickMolesterson You will be happy to know that this is the case for more or less every social media influencer. A lot of people make enough money through ad sense. But still chose to do regular ad reads because it gives a consistent income stream. I am personally not a big fan though. I think it ruins the flow of every video I have seen. Some are more creative than others. But most suck, I have seen the script you have to read for Raid and it is horrible.I kind of miss the days when people did not know they could make a living of shitposting on the Internet.
