@graf seeing an issue since the update today I think where I can’t upload some videos and photos from iOS(able to replicate across iPhone and iPad). Testing with the same photos on Chudbuds and they upload just fine. The upload icon just gets stuck and never advances.Anything I can do to help you figure that out?

You could be my best friend and I would take issue with indulging people who openly have threatened violence and participated in the mental and emotional torture of someone to the point of ending their own life. Mormon Shaggy openly has made death threats, was an open party to extortion using stolen material and has a strong relationship with a person who openly discusses the grooming of a 14 year old child. Also KoP has a 5 - 10 year record of a ton of gayops. While I might have been harsh, those two do nothing for the reputation of those around them.

Is it porn? because I heard it has good porn search results.I have something different with Brave on Ubuntu 22.04LTS, I use dual monitors, if I have brave on one monitor and I have either a Steam window open or a LibreOffice Calc (excel) , Brave will freeze/stutter for a few seconds if you try to scroll the window up or down, then once the browser window is moving, it will stutter every few seconds. Sucks when reading manga.Another that pisses me off is that if I try to load a document to a website (.pdf) or try to save a photo, the Brave browser window in that monitor will freeze completely, the Brave browser window in the 2nd monitor will be working just fine. I have to Kill the process and reopen everything again.Good thing it saves my 60-80 tabs, otherwise I would have jumped from a bridge a long time ago 😂

@Dramamine @Kinochet @graf tl;dr iOS can play webm, but not really.as of the brand spanking new iOS 16 you can now play *silent* webm files (no vorbis and apple still hides opus support for end users for whatever reason) encoded in VP8! Sometimes in VP9 (not sure what special conditions need to be met to satisfy Tim Apple to actually play them, but it's there). But not AV1 WebMs, don't make the mistake that just because avif is supported that AV1 is, that would just be silly! Of course, this support is only via webrtc, so take that as you will. cc: @sjw (I know you like to rant on codecs)

@resist_them_now @graf @Whitewall_Blasphemy @DickMolesterson @neurax If you're using an iPhone you more or less should be using Safari for anything - it just natively works with all apps the best and syncs across all devices seamlessly, it works with all your baked in iOS password and 2FA uses. This is also why it's hard to switch away from Apple because nothing else does it half as good.I do have Brave as a secondary browser but very rarely use it.On PC I use both Brave and Firefox. On Mac I use Safari and Brave and Firefox. But that is all mostly for managing multiple windows better than having multiples of Safari or anything else.Also there are some sites that just don't play nice with Safari, mostly some video streaming ones.

@RedTechEngineer @sjw @graf @Dramamine iOS had an app called PlayerXtreme that would play webms it was really handy - but I think with iOS14 there was some big change in the app store or something and apps that didn't do some type of update with their Apple Store licensing(which is expensive) were delisted and couldn't be downloaded again from new devices - I think this was their way of combating some type of fuckery that was going on, I forget exactly.

@Suiglide @DickMolesterson @Kinochet @Whitewall_Blasphemy @graf @neurax @resist_them_now Apple allows it no other way. You also don't get access to the fast JavaScript engine. You have to use the slow one. Only Apple gets to use the fast one. That way Safari is always the fastest and most battery efficient browser on iOS.
