       @root every day of "October" is actually in december. It is the tenth month of the year, and the Latin root "deca-" means ten, while "octa-" means eight. It's like this because the ancient Roman emperors decided to insert months named for Julius and Augustus into the sunny season, without renumbering 4 subsequent months to correct for this misalignment.
