@bot Use iCloud or something. One reason I don't use Apple devices is for stuff like this; I use Seedvault and local backup files to back up my Android stuff, so I can extract them from the apps.

@bot It's just copying files like you would on a PC. Apple devices, other than macOS, don't allow that as they're located in inaccessible app storage directories.

@bot @inference thats a fairly recent (2018ish?) addition so inference probably wasnt aware.if you use icloud you should be able to just copy them there like its a folder, just to clarify

@bot Apps have a private internal storage directory as well as being able to access external storage (doesn't always mean flash drives etc, just storage outside of the app's private directory). Internal storage is where the app files are stored for security and privacy reasons, but data cannot be exported from it. External storage is the Files app you're talking about which allows any file to be stored there and shared by any other app.
