@lucifargundam Places like LA yeah, less so up in northern California. Have to have low living standards and high technology to have cyberpunk.

@mathman Silicon Valley is 4-6 hours north of LA. 12-14 hours in the worst of traffic.

@mathman Ah so you mean in urban regions. Yeah that kinda goes without saying though. Other potential cyberpunk metros would be like Austin, Boston (?) and NYC... pretty defacto though.

@lucifargundam And specifically cyberpunk games and movies like Cyberpunk. Matrix, Fallout, and Deus Ex have a different feel, because the society as we know it actually ended or is just about to.
