       It's so annoying to delete discord messages, why do I have to delete them one by one or use a Tampermonkey script (which is also slow but less slow)I honestly just want to try and send them a legal request to do that

       Contrary to what they want you to think, "Account Deletion" only deletes the account, not any of the messages which is what most people want when they delete their accounts.Come on Discord, stop being such a snake.

       @oklomsy I don't know how it is now, but a few years back, the database Twitter made did not have a delete operation. Things just got an 'is_deleted' flag that hid them. It was a technical limitation of their design

       @Archivist Discord can delete messages from a certain user though, when you ban someone you have the option of deleting their messages. (But only messages sent 24 hours ago or a week ago)Though I understand how it can be a computationally expensive action.

       @oklomsy particularly given that they do that in Elixir and that the message database archives older stuff making take longer and longer to delete the further back you go
