@icedquinn the problem is that unionisation is official government policywhich you think would be a good thing, but the issue is that "unionisation" = "the establishment" so it's not as helpful as you think, seeing as "powerful people" = "powerful people", no matter if they're CEOs or prime ministers...

@icedquinn biggest union in the country?well... it just so happens to be attached to a big political party, so it's not as helpful as you'd think.we have many institutions in Norway that were originally designed to help people who struggle, but now they just serve people who don't need any help.

@ned @thor I saw a commentary recently that "anarcho tyranny" isn't real. What's actually happening is that we're reverting to tribal politics where enforcement and rules comes down to who has what gang and what they can do. It's not that the state is arbitrarily applying the laws against us, it's that the laws are only enforced by those weak enough to have it imposed upon them Something something might makes rightI'm not sure if I completely buy it, but it's certainly a new way of viewing things

@Christ_is_Lord @thor The problem with that is the modern state is designed in such a way as to remove all localized power centers to make everyone susceptible to state power. it's almost a requirement for the state to exist in the first place.

@Christ_is_Lord @ned @thor Thats what anarcho-tyranny is, just updated. What we are seeing is a variation of a tribal alliance united by a powerful tribe to loot a rich but weakened neighbour. Anarcho-tyranny just expands it from simple ethnic tribal lines into class, religious and gender lines as well.
