       hi @martijnbraam, just now saw your blog posts on the testing setup. You seem to be far along already, but your goals remind me of https://labgrid.readthedocs.io quite a bit. You'd need to hook your rpi pico control board into it, but would get the resource sharing between developers and CI as well as an integration with pytest for writing the test cases. Have you considered using this / something similar instead of writing it all from scratch? I saw you did a small comparison to LAVA in one post...

       @dwagenk yep I did see it. I don't remember the exact details but labgrid, like most existing platforms, make different assumptions about the testing setup than what I require.
