       The one moment from university that I'll always remember is my Programming Languages professor saying, to a room full of hopeful future programmers, that we need to eliminate programmers from the process of programming. Instead we need to program computers to program for us so that the flaws in our human work will be eliminated, somehow.The same guy in a different class told me to temper enthusiasm with realism, which I think is very funny.

       He justified this position by pointing out that it's possible to use #defines in C to create a program coded entirely using underscores.Yes, it's possible to code something poorly, and it's possible to put additional effort in to code something atrociously, but I think we're missing some key logical steps.

       @swashberry To be fair, I have been scouring the Unreal Engine codebase for 2 days and I still have no idea how to build this thing to reload my modules, and at this point I am dreadfully afraid to ask because it seems to not be a work of humans but the work of whatever spriggans and uhmpaa-loompas Epic managed to enslave.And all of that is because Unreal is programmable by your average graphics designer
