@kaia I like the concept of USB Dead Drops but I wish people didn't make them like this because you will end up damaging the drive by having a huge laptop bending it. I think a better way would be to have a USB extension cord connected to the drive sticking out of the wall.

@icedquinn @kaia @vib yeah i think one can use an adapter to prevent frying. for data USB guard is an option but this is only reducing the danger. buuuuut there is no reason not to use old laptops with no internet access which would be thrown away otherwise anyway
