None of it made any fucking sense as far as actual tactics and strategy went, but the spectacle and style made up for it.

The style they used reminded me of Aeon Flux and Reign: the Conquerer a bit. I think it was just the style from the comics if I recall, though.

Watching some shows with all the family kids lately, I've really come to appreciate the genre. Having the kids explode in excitement when something happens, or sitting there clamped down on the sofa in suspense is just magical. Very few shows manage to capture that essence like that clone wars cartoon. The cliffhanger, the special operators opening the second season, it was beautiful.

Until there's a big shakeup at the top and beanface gets thrown into the trash where it belongs, we're not going to see anything good coming out of American studios.(Nevermind the fact they're all animated in Korea. The writers are still theoretically American.)

It's why I got so invested into Weeb Wars because I grew up attending conventions almost every weekend. On the weekends I wasn't at conventions or fan events, I was doing competitive sports.
