As the system shutters itself to maintain control it needs enforcers, and in a digital world it demands only dedication, not social graces or physical capability. Survival requires developing the ability to withstand the predictable methods of economic warfare being utilized. Resilience against these tactics is difficult to achieve and perhaps beyond the reach of many, but developing as much of it as possible while you can needs to be a priority. I think this is basically the only trick they have that can be applied at scale with diminishing police and military forces to impose their will on meatspace, so if we can survive that their options are limited with a rapidly deteriorating currency, a crumbling economy, and widespread urban unrest.
