@DickMolesterson Both. Van Halen was actually the first band I became a fan of. The first CD I ever listened to constantly was my dad's copy of "The Best of Vol. 1" which had Roth on vocals, and when I finally got to see them in concert Sammy was back with the band.

My other favorites are Mayonnaise, Cherub Rock, 33, Zero, Fuck You (An ode to no one), For Martha, Stand Inside Your Love, and Untitled (from Rotten Apples). I haven't listened to anything after Zeitgeist, so I have some catching up to do.Fun fact, my dad was friends with Kenny Aronoff, who filled in as drummer for Jimmy Chamberlain when he was dealing with drug issues, I think around the time of the Adore tour. Many years later I got to see the Jmmy Chamberlain Complex in a nearly empty bar in Lawrence KS. It was fantastic to see him healthy and watching him drum from literally 4 feet away.

@DickMolesterson It is and it's also one of the most important albums in BM history too.I thought a lot about why I never liked ABINS in the first blaze. Maybe it is bc of the radical change coming from Soulside Journey (one of few Death Metal albums I like) while I couldn't fully understand what this change meant. Maybe all the praise the album got from circles and people I can't really relate to put me off too. Maybe later albums resonated too much to me, especially Panzerfaust which was my entry to Darkthrone. Nowadays I like ABITN very much. Even spent a few hundred bucks to get my hands on a first press LP and CD.
