@cope yunohost relies on LDAP a lot which may be a confusing barrier to entry for normal people. a user last year paid me to fix his instance and figure out why he couldn't add or invite users -- yunohost integrated LDAP in his pleroma so I had to separate that or he would have to create a user in yunohost console for each pleroma user otherwise this is a good tip

Docker build --no-cache for each update as well.Before you run the software there is a file located in the root of the git called docker-compose.yaml under environment there is ENDPOINTDATABASE_HOSTENDPOINT That first ENDPONT: "your domain"

@Hoss@shitpost.cloud man you must think I'm new here, I'm well aware I own more domains than this one, I swapped servers and had issues it was easier to move the .xyz domain than try to get the .link setup backup and working, I was only proven right when Pleroma became over ran with troons. We're here on .xyz until they take it from my cold dead hands.

The guide assumes you use Cloudflare, each time the misskey container boots it will run a brand new self signed cert and cloudflare will accept this on the "full" setting. However I have not test certbot on Windows https://certbot.eff.org/instructions?ws=other&os=windowsBut they do have documentation

@FreddyFiveFingers@poa.st @r000t@ligma.pro For a good while Cloudflare refused to work for me, but did for the author of the github, so I created my own option over using Cloudlfare that uses Certbot and a proxy VPS. If you are on a home server I recommend Cloudflare or a proxy VPS as anyone can ping your site and get your home IP if you use a home server.
