For full clarity, my crime was being annoyed at the no-doxing rule, not because I dox people or ever have but because it's not inherently wrong. Doxing Antifa is based. Doxing journos is based. Doxing violent criminals in general when the "justice" apparatus won't do it is based. And besides, you will never stop doxing because it's not illegal and there are a hundred other websites that not only allow it but passively encourage it. The response to me explaining this autistically, over and over, was to be accused of doxing, planning to dox, being Jewish, being gay, being a fed, everything you can think of except for a valid counter argument.

I'm glad people find that comfortable and I mean that sincerely. I just don't. It doesn't sit right with me that such a rule exists because it will either be used to protect enemies or it'll be selectively enforced. I get where you're coming from but I see that as a situation where people will choose sides based on the merit of the dispute. As I said before, I wouldn't do that myself but if you did, maybe they deserved it. Maybe they didn't. It'll likely hurt your rep though either way so that's just the consequence of taking something that far. Actively setting a rule up to prevent it is just goofy to me. Forums and image boards have been around just fine for well over a decade without that measure in place because people used to understand opsec.
