       I have noticed several stories about dems walking back their previous defund the police, positions.  It's like now that it has proved disastrous they don't want to be associated with it.  However, I can't imagine anybody is stupid enough to not have known what would happen.  So I conclude that they wanted it to happen, but also want to dodge the responsibility.

       @Phil Agreed - it also shows how shortsighted they were/are -- what did they think the public's reaction would be to total lawlessness in many Dem cities?
