       Lol, Twitter wants my phone number now? After they got hacked in January, had tens of millions of user account details (phone#s included) stolen, which are now up for sale on the darknet, and they stayed silent about it, trying to let their near-criminal incompetence fly under the radar?I must apologise for my unusually crude language in advance, but:Burn to the ground and get fucked, you assholes.

       @neglesaks@mstdn.io 2FA login "security" options exist solely to tie otherwise anonymous accounts directly to a particular individual/identity. If they can get your phone number to "secure" your account then your account is now directly linked to a phone plan which can be linked back to you.
