       I don't like posting these but this is become really dire. My mum and sister wanted to finally have a holiday that has been delayed for 2 years since covid has happened. I had to help pay for the flights. I'm not doing too well financially but it seemed ok. EasyJet then cancelled their outbound. Freaking out that they would have a holiday thats been paid for for 2 years ripped away we hastily got an outbound flight on Monday instead so they can still go Disney Land Paris. This is the only holiday my sister has ever had and my mum for as long as ive been alive. This cost me around £800 out of pocket due to a lot of short notice. Just now France's Air Traffic Controllers have decides to strike on the day they were gunna come back, this Friday. Their flight is cancelled and we now need to haggle EasyJet for compensation for both flights. I am out of pocket £800 and possibly more soon. This is nearing half my take home pay monthly and already is most of what my mum earns too.In my summary I am also not accounting for £70 for an uber for them to come home in the middle of the night from the airport last Friday or the hotel that they had booked that they missed. I'd assume between both of us we are £1000 on stuff that has been fucked over.If there is anyone who could help I'd appreciate it so much. I am typing this at work and trying to figure out how they can get back.
